I thought some of their songs were bordering on the ridiculous but it was at least good to have some away fans in attendance.

On the green stuff it was more akin to a rugby match and Whitworths totally lost their head in ET which ultimately cost them the game. Some lovely goals from both sides, and they were the best side we've faced so far by some distance.

The goalscorers (in order) were Newman, Wisniewski, Newman, Ellwood, Wisniewski. Attendance was very good considering the games supposed lack of importance. Possibly as much as 300.

Just over 360 which i thought was great for this sort of game. There was a reference to Dale in one of their chants and they were told in no uncertain terms that it was beyond the pale and it was not then repeated
