Glad we got the win, also nice to do the double over Histon.

My first away victory for over 3 years, although it certainly wasn't pretty. Would have liked us to have tried to kill off the game as I did think Histon would find a goal from somewhere eventually if we didn't get another but we seemed to be happy defending our lead with a man short and thank god we held out for 3 extremely valuable points and only the 4th team to beat Histon at their place this season :D

Also am I right in thinking we're 4th with or without the Chester results now?

This is a brilliant result. Firstly because I hate the way Hoofton play and it's always great to beat a non-football team. Next as we managed to keep in front for 50 mins + 5 mins extra time with a weird ref in 'charge'. And finally because 3 more points to cancel out our Chester win towards a Wembley appearance.
Well done JE and the boys - you really are making this season memorable for me after the last few of despair.

Just got back to Luton. Fantastic defending by the boys all second half. Winning these games under those circumstances is the mark of champions!

Just in too. Was a pretty terrible game and the ref was a cock but 3 points is all that counts.

I don't think Nicky Mac should have been sent off though. Took the guy high but didn't look that bad. The ref was an utter joke though!!

One thing which I did notice is that York run the risk of being dragged in. Whilst they have played one game less than us, they still have to play Stevenage, Mansfield and Wimbledon. We've got tricky fixtures left, but they seem to be dropping points atm (lost to Barrow tonight in the Trophy).

Me and my cousin saw the pictures on one of the photographers laptops and it did look dangerous, a red card i think. Great to hold on for the win, very proud to be a Rushden fan atm. Lets just hope we can keep it up
