We were never going to get the same level of support for the U18s as last year Steve, people have other things to do and with Saturday football back people have to keep the family happy as well, I know my wife gets a bit tetchy if I'm away too much - tonight is the first evening she's seen me this week ;)
Of course I would love to see more people attend the U18s, they deserve a bigger audience, especially with the quality of their play at times, but the reality is people have busy lives and limited disposable income and the first team will always be their priority.
Edit: I meant to add, although the U18s crowds have dropped, the potential for these boys to progress into our senior squad is there, if they're good enough and have the right attitude, they will get their chance and they (and their parents) should perhaps look at the long game.

To be quite honest i thought that Whitworths played a lot better than their League position, they were a lot better side than Irchester
Also i agrre with Steve i am also disappointed with the crowds we are getting for the youth team this year, i realise they are better then most UCL first teams get but i honestly expected 100-150 on a regular basis
