Was great to see so many there, fully deserved 4-0 win, although could and should have been more!
R&H didn't offer anything in the form of an attacking threat.
Would think with the money they took today, they'll be able to fix the stand.

Great game , great football and a great atmosphere , especially in the first half.
Also well done to Rushden and higham who put things in place , ie extra toilets , sncak bar etc

The attendance of 1,157 today was higher than 21 of our league matches in the Blue Square Premier in our final season (2010/11).

Great day made even better by the fact both teams started the game with 11 men on the pitch.

I was proud to be part of the 1'157 today, it shows the direction we're going. Upwards.

So say R&H are getting 100 a game, add a couple hundred neutrals, that means we've gained massively in attendance by just playing in Rushden or am I missing something...

Wow, what a day (1157 !!!! I hoped for 1000 by never dreamt of that), certainly will be coming back, but one thing, why did we choose the dog and duck over hayden Road, loved it there, proper old fashioned ground

One reason will be that R&H have a reserve side so no Saturdays available

I don't believe playing at Hayden Road was an option, Ron, and the much improved Dog and Duck is a far better venue, and has a seated grandstand that hasn't been condemned.ron manager wrote:Wow, what a day (1157 !!!!
