Yeah that is the one. I didn't see it as there was a defender blocking my view but it does look very dangerous and the way football is at the moment i think it is always a red card. Not saying i agree with that but that is how it is atmTwo of Diamonds wrote:Was that the picture in the ET tonight? If it was I'd like to see the ones where Macca actually made contact with the ball, before it flew up into the air as in that pic, just to see where the Histon player was in relation. It was difficult to tell at full speed whilst watching, but first impression from our end was that it was a great attempt to intercept the ball before the Histon player got to it.Steve wrote:Me and my cousin saw the pictures on one of the photographers laptops and it did look dangerous, a red card i think. Great to hold on for the win, very proud to be a Rushden fan atm. Lets just hope we can keep it up

Even by Mal's high standards, these are a great set of pics - as well as this one of Macca's tackle, he's got a great one of the Tann tackle on O'Connor for the penalty too.

That pic's great, I hope someone at Radio Histon sees that after their 80 minute rant about an unfair penalty last night.

Just realised thanks to this result we have already won 1 more than we did the whole of last season, my god this has been a good season!

Yeah, having seen both the penalty and the macca red card, i have to say from the pictures, they were both probably right! Although i think macca got the ball, im not sure how you can get into the position in the picture without it being a foul, unfortunately.

Once you are leading with both feet at that height in close proximity to an opponent then you are always going be in trouble with ref. :oops:DiamondsFan wrote: Looks so high.

What these photos ........... !!
The images are shot at around eight frames per second. Its surprising how far the ball and players have moved in that time!!

The thing is, the first one is ok, but when he lifts both feet off the ground, im afraid there can be very few excuses imo.Redsnapper wrote:What these photos ........... !!

From those photos it looks as if Macca gets the ball, but in his follow-through the Histon player carries on moving into the way of his leg. However, at that height it must be deemed dangerous play... thank God his foot missed the other player's right leg, because with his studs planted in the ground we could have seen another Ramsey on our hands.
