Hayden Road is already occupied by another club though. Once my euromillions win comes in we'll have a fully self sustaining ground. . .

Seriously though, (I know this would be better on the other forum), but have we engaged in communication with the council, it would be good to get them on board with our plans and include them in on it all.

I think you're right ron, this isn't the place to open up a discussion about what we might, or might not be doing - even speculating on a members internet forum could jeopardise any plans/thoughts/hopes.

I believe this is best left to the Board to decide and share with the members when the time is appropriate, thats what the Board get voted on (or off) for - at the moment we should be focusing on the Dog and Duck as our home and making the necessary improvements there to make the matchday experience as good as we can.

We do want our own home, but one step at a time eh? ;)

Please don't forget that we are a COMMUNITY club and the kids in the Community and Academy teams are all part of the plan, they are our long term future players and our short term future fans. Any development we have must include space for these players to train, play and socialise.

Fully agree, which is my point about even getting R&H to use the facility as well, end of the day, the first team will play there once a fortnight, most of the time the facilities will be used by reserves, kids, ladies, public etc etc.
