Bugbrooke drew 1-1 with Potton on Saturday, the first time in their five league games so far that they haven'y got three points.

Previous to this weekend they'd beaten Bourne 3-2, BPW 6-2, Thrapston 3-0 and Olney 2-0.

In Cup competitions the Badgers beat R&H 3-1 in the FA Cup, drew 2-2 with Ely, seeing them off 3-1 in the replay before succumbing to Dereham Town 4-1.

In the Vase there is a real Diamonds connection as Bugbrooke beat Welly Town 3-0 then got beat 2-1 by Yaxley.

Olney were vanquished 1-0 in the UCL Cup and Gretton beaten 5-0 in the Junior Cup.

In a purely footballing sense this could be the best game of the season so far.

Thanks for pointing that out as this might be a no watch game for me.

Great opportunity to put things right straight away and i'm hoping we'll see a response. Like us, Bugbrooke haven't played one of the top sides yet so it will be an interesting game.

I'll go for a 2-0 win in front of 512 fans. Goals from Morgan and Hope.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Could I ask that the 'match status report' be included as part of the preview? I know some people were concerned that Friday's rainfall may have meant that yesterday's game was in doubt and I understand there could be mist/fog over the next couple of days.

I think it's safe to assume we'll let you know if the match is in doubt as soon as is possible, but it's hugely time-consuming to do all the updates we have to do, let alone another one on days where there is no issue. I think I've spent four hours this afternoon / evening on uploading BPW pics, creating the Eynesbury preview, updating post-match stats, adding November fixture changes (which then need updates in four places) etc.

Not to mention the work done by others on the U18 preview and Match video.

I know it would be nice to see a big gate tomorrow.
But I will be on shift tomorrow night, so wish the team well. Will bring a letter next home game signed by the boss if evidence of this is required.
