It has happened to us before. K*ttering always used to up their prices when were were in town. I'm sure I remember them charging £18/20 for tickets before the conference ruling was put in place.
If I were a Darlington fan, I'd refuse to pay that price.
I would be a bit pissed off but for the sake of a fiver I would not miss watching my team. I would let them know that they are robbing bastards an make sure that I spent no money in the ground on beer, food and a programme etc.
Just for the record the dirty scum did the very same thing to Luton last season, the Luton supporters all refused to go and spent their money elsewhere.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.

Didn't they charge a levy for the Policing costs that were going to be incurred?

I'm not sure why they raised the prices, I just know a few supporters that boycotted the game.

That's what Ladak said...but then he kept the money and didn't paid the Old Bill's bill.
To put this into perspective, Darlington charge £8 for an adult home ticket which is probably the highest in that league. You never hear any complaints when a club raises it's prices if it draws one of the big teams in the FA Cup.
