It was great to see loads of old faces at my first AFC game yesterday - and some new ones who, mysteriously knew who I was!

Love the megaphone and the siren! Thanks for the "Vicar's got his hat on" chants, lads - it's great to hear you in such good voice!

There's a fantastic atmosphere - reminiscent of the early RDFC days - and all credit to the Board, the players, and the management team for that.

We were all over the Doughboys from the first whistle, and if it hadn't been for the ref would have won that game 3-2 in ordinary time. If some of our final ball passes had been the right choice, we would on by more.

Hugely enjoyable part of my week's break!
