About 2000. There were too many complaints from ex Rushden Town fans that we were using Irthlingborough Diamonds theme tune. :evil:

I think it ought to be played again on matchdays at Nene Park.

The music that used to be played before and after Diamonds games during the mid-late 90's. It was on Radio Diamonds too when the programme went off-air at about half 5. Never heard it anywhere else but at Diamonds games.

Anyway, my old man has got it on cassette, and played it today, absolute classic!!!!

Reminded me of the old days, and Darren Collins inparticular.

I know you suggested a tune from the 90's - but was it the one you hear at the start of this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mXvWQYdung ? I can remember that being played for years (unfortunately it cuts just before the instrumental bit).

That first song is Samba De Janeiro, a fairly well-known song, so probably not it.
