I would just like to say what a great experience this FA Vase has been. The previous matches were a test for us with clubs from a higher league, clubs unknown to us and then with the draw matching us away to Ashington, the story unfolded to create a wonderful togetherness of people who really care about the club. I put this thread out initially to determine whether the match was likely to be on, and have laughed at fantastic humerous posts on this subject and admired the amount of effort the supporters have committed to making the 'away trip' such a success. My overall opinion is, this club has some of the best, passionate and committed supporters any club could wish for. The lads were also magnificent in keeping everything together and were denied the opportunity to progress in the competition by an unfortunate late goal. However, we will be back........
