Im happy, a wins a win and we got a clean sheet, but we're nowhere near good enough if we want to consider ourselves as promotion candidates, in fact we're miles off.
A true outlaw finds the balance between the passion in his heart and the reason in his mind. The outcome is the balance of might and right.

I think we are seriously lacking in midfield without Wiz, and clearly are missing Gilsenan's experience in the middle of the park.
I can understand why Pete started over Lance, but Pete had a poor game, which is a shame because he showed so much promise in that first pre-season game.

He was'nt great but i still think he had a better game than he did against Whitworths in the Northants cup the only other time i've really seen him!diamondgeezer1 wrote:I think we are seriously lacking in midfield without Wiz, and clearly are missing Gilsenan's experience in the middle of the park.

I suppose thats football, but why are some folk knocking Peter. The lad never gave up, ok he didn't score but he put a lot of effort in and never stopped running. SS :|

I'd have liked to have seen him on the right for a while in the second half, as I think he'd have been able to stay wider and cross better with his right foot.supersub wrote:I suppose thats football, but why are some folk knocking Peter.
