Just thought I would pop on here to catch the fall out from the beer throwing at the keeper on Saturday.. Only to find it has been swept under the carpet?

If it happened it was probably in retaliation for being spat at!!Diamondsarentforever wrote:Just thought I would pop on here to catch the fall out from the beer throwing at the keeper on Saturday.. Only to find it has been swept under the carpet?

Im a little surprised at the lack of comment on this, I was that end and the keeper had completely lost it for about 30 seconds having a right go, then some "brain dead" through bear or water at him, I do believe Ralph was right there as well so would have seen it all.Diamondsarentforever wrote:Just thought I would pop on here to catch the fall out from the beer throwing at the keeper on Saturday.. I didn't see the spitting, but loads of people where adamant. What I would like to see is
1. The person throwing beer banned, as not needed at the club (I would have hated to be standing there with my kids when that happened), if it was you have to balls to own up and say sorry to the board please.
2. Mr Fox be disciplined, as the stewards and officials had indicated would happen if proven he did spit. I think the police may or should have been involved if he did spit.

It wasn't the keep who spat it was their number 3 who was guarding the near post for the corner

Funny how you rear your ugly head on the first hint of trouble.Diamondsarentforever wrote:Just thought I would pop on here to catch the fall out from the beer throwing at the keeper on Saturday.. Only to find it has been swept under the carpet?

I honestly don't think it was one of our fans, as there were a few K*ttering fans at the game, much more their style.. IF it was one of our fans then whoever it was should be dealt with, but I don't think our fans would stoop that low personally.
Just my two cents.

I understand it was a diamonds fan who attends regularly who threw the beer, before the number 3 had spat. So don't tell me it was a K*ttering fan because its crap and most diamonds fans know that to. I was just surprised it was all kept so hush presumably to protect an image that isn't actually true maybe?

It was dealt with at the time, the club secretary was standing 2 feet away from the scene and saw everything, don't you think that if anything else is to be done about it, its being done/spoke about?? :?: What is talking about it on here going to achieve apart from negativity, for once the football was the main discussion after a game and long may that continue!!Diamondsarentforever wrote:I understand it was a diamonds fan who attends regularly who threw the beer, before the number 3 had spat. I have to tell you that you understand incorrectly.Diamondsarentforever wrote:I understand it was a diamonds fan who attends regularly who threw the beer, before the number 3 had spat. The events unfolded as such. Keeper lost it and started having a pop at the crowd including offering to see one fan after the game. He may well have been provoked though there were a lot of verbals going his way and he was having a shocker. The number two joined in with a few choice words and then the number three spat at the crowd, followed by the beer being thrown.
