Second of all at no point did i say which part of the fanbase it was at bpw, i just said some little boy, and lastly calling me jock simply because i live in corby and have absolutely no relation to anything scottish is simply below the belt, jesus christ perhaps there should only be an attendance of 20 every week because the people who can only sing out swallowing and choking, while throwing objects are the only people who show real support :?
Sorry were you at the Fakenham game?! Did you see their absolute twat of a fan bare his arse to the terrace? What he got was deserved IMO.

The support today was excellent, it's not a popularity contest, it's a football league. I'm sure Bourne don't give a f*** about what happened today, I'm sure BPW don't give a f*** either, they're happy that we all came. Some of our fans need to stop worrying, complaining and just enjoy the matches. If something in the crowd that wasn't a fight ruins your day at a match then you need to man up and stop being so precious. FFS.

I am not condoning the beer throwing but if you were in a street and someone spat at you , what would you do ? also if agian in the street if some one kicked a ball hard at your child what would you do? I am afraid it is players who are carrying out these acts that are the main culprits

Yes i know a very pretty pathetic attemp at a wind up but actually still does have a valid answer.

Now tell me where in this country where is the perfect community without crime, violence, foul mouthed behaviour by juveniles and lads who are bigtiming in front of mates because they think they are hard but hide behind mummies skirts when the going gets tough.

so in fact we are a community with bad boys lurking about like every other football team in the world, if you want no foul language, no silly antics from lads then you are welcome to travel the lands of England to find that holy grail of the perfect band of football supportes with halo,s proundly polished and singing onward christian soldiers and other hyms.

Of course if our wayward fan base is deemed unwanted by the others in the UCL then simply we stay away and let one man and his dog have a peaceful day.

Anyway let others continue bitching and moaning as it seems what this country does best these days.

Funny how you only pop up when there's a chance (however small) to have a dig at the club and I don't see how anyone could be so bitter at AFC R&D, I understand how people were bitter and jealous of the old club, but we're not it and one or two people doing a couple of silly things does not mean we can't be classed as a community club and as biggles puts very well, there isn't a single club in the country that won't have at least a few idiots in the fanbase (not saying our fans are though).

Agreed.
Thankyou for your complimentary comments of Radio Diamonds on behalf of Paul, Adam and myself. That was only our 2nd away broadcast and we hope to do many more. We peaked at 43 listeners yesterday which is our highest number home or away.
If there was anything you particulary liked about the show, or areas you think could've been improved, we'd be grateful to hear from you.
Anyway glad we were able to bring you the game from Abbey Lawn, and we hope it was as if you were there! A very entertaining 2nd half and we're all looking forward to Sileby! COYD

I apologise for my outburst on here last night if i offended anyone. I was pretty hammered.

People have explained what I was trying to get at better than me, so I'll leave it to them in the future ;)

Tell me what you know about the Community side of the club?

For example do you know that we have over twenty teams and 250 players playing football every week, facilitated through AFC Rushden & Diamonds?

Do you know that we have a thriving disability team that are getting new players every week and offering opportunities for kids that wouldn't normally have these chances?

Do you know that this season we have offered Ladies the opportunity to play football in this area that was not previously available to them?

Do you know that every single one of our younger members gets free entry to all first team games?

Do you know that we have recruited Community Team coaches from the rank and file of the AFC Rushden & Diamonds supporter base thereby offering more opportunities for more kids?

A lot of our friends in the UCL offer these opportunist, perhaps not as comprehensively, but within their means and without the backing of our large supporter base, they are every bit a Community Club as we are but still have their idiots who think that just because they have shin pads and the same posts as Ashley Cole, they can behave like the idiots in the Premiership. Will they get castigated from their own club? I doubt it, yet everyone is quick to point the finger because we have a different fan base to the other clubs.

The singers will stay, some things they sing make you wince, but they also give real comedy moments like when Aaron King was warming up yesterday wearing a snood and they all started singing "Taliban, Taliban, Taliban" as he jogged past. That made me laugh out loud.
