I'm a bit disappointed with that to be honest. Okay, I know its more than some senior sides are getting in the UCL, but these lads are on the threshold of picking up the title and up against real contenders tonight.

I hope that as they close in on that title a few more venture down there, the lads are a joy to watch and deserve a bigger platform really.

Great result tonight, really sorry to have missed it but work had to come first sadly. On the 18th March they play Irchester who are foundering towards the bottom of the table, it'd be great to have over 100 there to watch it - spread the word eh?

The standard of football is so high as well - the lads really have pushed on from their excellent grounding last season.

£2 to get in, 7 goals, hardly any queues at the food hut or the bar, real ale on gravity (last night was Bombadier)... what's not to like?

I agree. We seem to have an excellent crop of youngsters, with decent players having to wait their turn on the bench too. Although Jake Reynolds is rightly getting a lot of praise, the whole team seems composed in front of goal, with some excellent strikes on target or just shaving the woodwork - and very few (if any) blazed high over the bar (first team take note).

Perhaps the attendance suffered due to our home game tonight?

Is Reynolds actually ours? By that I mean is he also affiliated with a club higher up the pyramid that might affect our chances of keeping him long-term? He's already good enough to be in the first team squad IMO.

Didn't think it was that complicated. ;)

I know some of our U18's are connected to Corby Town in some way which might prevent us keeping them long term if they do enough to impress at Corby, wasn't sure if your lad was one of them.

ours ==signed on for ucl with diamonds
affilliated==only associated to, through college(actually they go to raunds manor college)
im going to be a bit blunt (only my opinion)these lads were signed on when corby were in the cups,,,they were only,,,in case something happened,,,,,,players.you have to ask why none of them train with the first team/none sit on the bench,,,,im sorry,i wish these lads all the best for the future but they need a reality check,,,,,again only my opinion ;)
