I always thought that those who lived in Rowell were deluded.Olly wrote:Hang on a minute

If this is off i'd imagine we'd want to play on a Thursday. The only ones that are free are 11th and 25th April and i don't think we'd want to play on the 25th. Corinthians have fixtures on the other dates and none of the Tuesdays are available as either Wellingborough are at home or Corinthians have a game

The pitch was completed covered in water yesterday when we got down the ground, and we have had more snow since then. Very little chance for tuesday night, just hope everything dries out and clears for your big game with Oadby on saturday.corby diamond wrote:Really cant see this going ahead, even if it does escape the snow, it will be waterlogged... We are going to have to have some decent weather between now and saturday for this one to go ahead. Fingers crossed we do.

Yes, as it thaws there will be water everywhere I'm afraid. The more times matches are postponed the more pressure will be heaped on to Oadby so that's the saving grace.

I see that Eynesbury are in a cup on Tuesday night at the quarter-final stage, so lets hope they can advance all the way to the final

This game could be played on wednesday 10th April.
Welly have game on previous evening but would that matter so much? (dependent on weather in meantime)
Neither us nor Rothwell have any other "free" midweek.
Is the D and D flooded at present or just covered with snow?
Could we not move game to this Wednesday and get down there Tuesday and Wednesday and clear the pitch before the snow melts and makes matters worse ?.
