AFCW

Post by diamondphil »

Maybe a little in advance but.....

I’m planning on going to the AFCW game at the end of the month (and having a few beers in the locality before and after) and wondered if it is a ticket game, or whether you can pay on the gate? I have checked the official website and it just appears to give details about how to get there and admission prices, therefore I’m assuming I don’t need a ticket. Can anyone clarify please?

So where’s everyone going for a pint / something to eat?

Ive been thinking about this one as well, me and the couple of lads i go with aren't sure wheather to use the train/tube for this one. We normally drive however because its a London game we're not that keen. Anyone know if the train/tube is an easy option and affordable?

In terms of boozers i should imagine we would be spoilt for choice, could even go round West London beforehand?

me and the geeza i'm going with are on the train from Bedford, then making the most of the london travel card for the day. £19.50 i believe for the train there and back, tube, and most buses!

I think we will be taking in a few pubs in the north london area before and after the game.
not sure which trains buses we're gonna be on, i'll leave that up to my mate, he's much better at it than i am.......

I'll be going on the train with loads of others. Probably stop off in London for a few Coca Cola's.

Ive just had a look on national rail and from Ketrin its going to cost the best part of 40 quid on the train as i havent got a rail card. Think we may have go on the coach as it will be a third of the price although not as fun as going on the train and having a few beers on the way down ;)

How much does it cost you lot on the train? Take it you go from Wellingborough?

Like I said the London travel card can be purchased from the station of choice incl tube and buses and is less than 40 notes. Check with the station.
