Yeah, me too, although Eynesbury have dropped quite a few dodgy points this season; Potton at home, Raunds at home, Bugbrooke away, Bourne away, Chenecks at home and Spencer at home.TheIncognitoKid wrote:Now the top side's have dropped some points, we have to make sure we don't do the same. We wern't overly convincing against ON's last time and trips to Potton and Spencer are going to be tricky. We have to keep this run going, but i fear it may end somewhere unexpectidly

I didn't even know Eynesbury were playing last night! That is a very welcome surprise to wake up to. Cheers Potton!

Re: Eynesbury
Oadby seem to be very clinical against the lesser teams and I fully expect them to finish in the top 2, probably as champions, despite their fixture congestion. The only glimmer I can see there is if Stevenson were to get injured and miss a few games.
I've felt for a while that Sileby could be more vulnerable so I think a win for Eynesbury on Saturday would be the best result for us, especially if we can win well at ON Chenecks to reduce the goal differential.
Whatever happens with the other top teams we must win our remaining games to keep the pressure on.

Re: Eynesbury
One thing to note, is that Oadby face an in form Buckingham on Sat, Spencer who beat Sileby on Monday, next Thursday and then Eynesbury on Sat 13th. The yalso have a cup game against St. Ives next Tuesday, so the fixtures are piling up for them against some tricky and decent sides. Hopefully they'll give it their all and go to extra time in the cup and win and have to play a final!rushdenman wrote:Oadby seem to be very clinical against the lesser teams and I fully expect them to finish in the top 2, probably as champions, despite their fixture congestion. That's true, but the sides they play will also have lot's of games, for instance Spencer are due to play tonight, Saturday and Tuesday prior to next Thursday's game.TheIncognitoKid wrote:One thing to note, is that Oadby face an in form Buckingham on Sat, Spencer who beat Sileby on Monday, next Thursday and then Eynesbury on Sat 13th. Appears Sileby may have goalkeeping problems for this afternoon's match at Eynesbury.
@SilebyRangers: Goalkeeping woes for Rangers. Away at Eynesbury today. #rushkeeper #spiders #worldcupdoubles

They have known for a while that watts would not be available to they tried to borrow a keeper from K*ttering but apparently they said no as they play today. We have 4 keepers registered do they want to borrow one of ours I am sure he would not mess up ;)
