Great news and it will be nice to see us take on a fellow phoenix club, hopefully we can have a decent following there to help them out financially as well. Also, are there any plans for us to enter the Supporters' Direct Cup next season (if it still exists that is)?

funny, their fans used to give us loads of stick. my dad hasn't a good word to say about them after, a couple of trips there, getting loads of abuse.

That's no different to just about every other club we came up against, and I imagine a lot of clubs would say it about us. There's nothing to say that those supporters are involved with the new club anyway; their board came down to watch our home match against Wootton Blue Cross in February and it's fair to say you couldn't wish to meet a nicer bunch of people.

Spoke to their Chairman, Paul Stockdale when he visited the Dog and Duck and he seemed a decent, level headed guy. ;)
