Wouldn't it be nice for Sileby to drop points tomorrow. :D

Who would we prefer to win between Oadby v Eynesbury Rovers. I must admit I'll prefer Oadby to win.

That'll put a further dent into Eynesbury Rovers, (like Potton United) It would put Eynesbury further behind us ready for when we play them.

What would people/you prefer the result to be?

0-0 after 103 minutes and then a big hole opens up in the middle of the pitch and swallows players from both sides.

Not all of them, just about six of each

No brainer for me. Discussed this last night at the U18 match and we were all agreed. Eynesbury to triumph is the best outcome. We really need Oadby to drop some points. Even if Eynesbury win and we win against Bourne it starts to put matters into our own hands.
I'm confident we can beat Eynesbury at home.

Oadby to win is better for us as that dents Eynesbury promotion chances, unless we are desparate for the title of course, however i will be happy trailing in 2nd place.

We need Sileby to drop at least another 3 points, Eynesbury to be beaten by Oadby and us then all we have to do is keep winning.

Football is easy, don't know why people fret

Provided we keep on winning, the game that I've earmarked for us to fill our boots is Raunds away. Both Sileby and Oadby put the Shopmates to the sword at Kiln Park and I think we must do likewise to improve our goal difference.

Oadby to beat Eynesbury and I hope we're in a position to draw against Eynesbury and still be able to beat Sileby on goal difference, but that's dependent on us giving Bourne and Raunds good hidings.

Back in November, there were many on this forum who had conceded the title to Sileby but now I think Oadby are the favourites but to do that they have to win all their games in hand. Isn't it exciting? ;)

I was one of them, but to be fair I don't think they dropped a single point between October and our game at the end of February and were looking unstoppable. Oadby have always been strong contenders all season but they had dropped points to Bourne and Harrowby and both us and Eynesbury had dropped a few silly points as well, while Sileby had only dropped points to Eynesbury and Oadby near the start of the season.

But yes I agree, Oadby may have a tough fixture backlog ahead of them but I still expect them to win them all, while Sileby are wobbly at the moment and hopefully Potton can do us another favour against them on Saturday, putting it in our hands :D

Sometimes its easier said than done, I have noticed in the last few matches that they simply are having the chances but just not putting them away. They all need just that little bit of tidyness towards the the end to put away the chances that are put on a plate for them.
The game that really needed to count was sileby at home, by half time they should had been 3-0 up, not to mention chenecks saturday (apart from them hitting the post) no exaggeration we should have been 5 up by half time!!

Raunds should be the game that they go for a big scoreline, similar to buckingham will do :D

But then again its also the sloppy goals conceding which also matters, whitworths, sileby and chenecks saturday. Like i said in a previous post they should be defending for their lives, throwing bodies at the ball if necessary but most importantly not allowing teams to cross into the box in the final 10 mins...

Thats absolutely no dig at the team whatsover because i am so proud of every one of them this season, and whether they go up or not ill still be a proud supporter... :D

Its already in our hands if we just want promotion as runners up. We just need to bang in as many goals as possible and overcome a 5 goal lead Sileby have on us.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.
