Re: How big?
But then again I was worrying before the sileby game and that was midweek. I really thought that would be where we slipped up, but if anything I was frustrated that wasn't an easy win which it should of been really. If it wasn't for that poor defended goal at the end it would of been another 2 points gained! Newman missed a load of chances, as did a few others. I really didn't think sileby were anything special, so don't go worrying till after the final whistle

Agree 100% with your assessment. The away game was one we could and should have won. The 4-1 score line flattered them and the difference that day was Bassett. There was all the business with McDonald as well to contend with.Bob's Bitch wrote:Just watched the highlights of the 4-1 again and their 1st two goals seem quite fortunate, Newman missed a hatful of chances including one golden one at 2-1. Then there was that awful miscommunication between Sam and Quincy and I don't think that's something that will happen with Cross.
2-0 Diamonds!
We are a far better team and stronger squad now and I expect us to win tonight.
Re: How big?
Eynesbury have had very similar results to us and have strengthened the team since we last met. They have played well against decent teams and have won some games by the odd goal against teams that they should thrash, and have drawn against teams that are near the bottom. This is probably the only other team who haven't lost away from home, since Jan 5th at Bugbrooke.
It should be a cracking match, and one I think we will win.
Only One No.1 = DR

It was also one of Deaks first games back after a long break and there was no AlfieTrek wrote:Agree 100% with your assessment. The away game was one we could and should have won.
