Given how we played until Lance Allen came on I WILL TAKE THAT ALL DAY LONG.
The referee was an absolute disgrace and a few big players didn't really turn up for us. The limitations of our front two were exposed by Bassett who is exactly the kind of player i'd like to see in a Diamonds shirt. That said both goals were brilliant, Sam Brown's was unreal, and all in all it was a great, great night. £5 for that sort of entertainment is ridiculously good value.
Eynesbury had some stand out players but their style of play was hard to watch. Hoofing it up to the very good striker and getting men around him.
It's simple now, we need 7 points from the next 3 games, which IMO is very achievable. Avoiding defeat tonight was massive and now for probably the first time I truly believe we're going to do it.

Because they were pissed. Anyway, good result, funny thing was ref was letting every push go, and then decided to give the slightest push for their pentatly, I think it was Deaks.
Quite a few players had off days today which is weird, they need to buck up for the last games. The pitch is just a nightmare which caused most of the problems, is like a bumpy astro turf, looks like concrete.
Got to laugh at the two rover directors?? got all carried away and I think Dave?? SouthRushdenFC, told him he was making himself look stupid
. Well handled that man,m the rest of the rovers people where a credit.

How much did Eynesbury celebrate the equaliser out of interest, considering that its unlikely to be enough for them?

They would almost certainly have been out of it if they had lost, with Oadby likely to have overtaken them given their game in hand tomorrow and they would have been 6 points behind us.Olly wrote:How much did Eynesbury celebrate the equaliser out of interest, considering that its unlikely to be enough for them?

The four young lads who ran onto the pitch this evening are known to be K*ttering supporters.

Na, RD fans all the way, there where outside the ground singing songs. Nothing major in it, just too much drink and over excited.
EDIT, how many UCL offical freeloaders where there tonight, its all a bit "clicky" in the UCL for my liking.

It will be interesting to see if the UCL officials sat at the front of the stand take any action against the Eynesbury official who launched a foul mouth tirade against Wizz and the WTFC official who was just as foul mouthed

So that was the last game between the top 4 sides wasn't it? And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think half of those games ended in 2-2 draws, it really has been a cracker of a season at the top of the table and it feels great to have been part of such an exciting competition at the top in our first season, I wonder whether the division will ever be that strong and exciting again?
