Even after the two defeats, I still believed we would be good enough to gain promotion.

Looking back, I'd have been more concerned with the points we dropped against Burton Park & Bugbrooke at home, but thankfully they didn't cost us.

I think it may have been for the former Raunds chairman Paul Scanlon who sadly passed away today.

well hopey was right :D :D did he not say(i think it was after our defeat at oadby)that we could go on a wining streak ,just as he did with st neots, well who would have believed the lads would go undefeated for a further 22 game.....awsome :D .....well done all the board for giving us a fantasic 2 years......well done to the players for giving us some great games to watch(and a few not so good ;) but points gained anyway) some superb goals and a fantastic never surrender attitude.....ala oadby at home,,,,,massive big up for starms and the backroom staff,,,,and massive pat on the back to all the volunteers to get the ground up to scratch and to get most of the games on ,when the weather was dire,i would like to give a special mention to BEN MORGAN,,,what a top lad hes been,he came in when we were in a sticky period, last october, when we lost a few players through injuries, and promptly started banging a few goals ,and kept us in the hunt, then he returned to the bench,it was always nice to know we had him in the wings :D ....even coming on at the whitworths game and settling my nerves with his goal, shame he wasnt at spencer to celebrate with the boys,a true pro.
THANKS ONE AND ALL..... :D :D :D :D

Well what can I say?? What a game, what a season! Thought we were superb today all over the pitch, from Wizzy at right back to Jake and Alf upfront - superb. Only top team this season to win at Spencer - shows how well we played.

This season has been truly memorable, some great goals (hope there is a goal of the season vote/vid), some great games (Sileby home and away, Eynesbury at home, Oadby at home), some great performances (Deaks/Quincy v Sileby, Kingy v Oadby, Browny v Eynesbury at home). Players were fantastic, supporters brilliant, management superb, board outstanding.

SAY WE ARE GOING UP, SAY WE ARE GOING UP!!!!

Quite a surreal feeling our first season is over already and has gone so quickly, just had a look back at all my photos of the various games I've been able to get to this season and it really doesn't feel like 8/9 months ago since it all began against Thrapston and those away games at WBC and Harrowby, some great memories.

Mal's Match Pics are added to the Match report, and the celebration pics are added to the separate story.

The pics are as good as ever - hopefully people will remember the time and trouble Mal goes to get these pics before copying them all over the internet without crediting him.
