Whitworths V Sileby...

Post by BartonRaz »

What's the plan? Can't see anything but an away win but whilst there's still a chance, is anybody thinking of going?
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

If Whitworths can put in anything like their performance last Tuesday, then they have a chance. I can't see a home victory but who would have thought Olney would have turned over Oadby!

I predict a 0-4 scoreline and Sileby as Champions and I don;t really want to see them lift the Trophy to be honest - however, if I hear a scoreline of 3-0 at about 9.20pm I'll be jumping in my car and heading down to the D&D to celebrate us being Champions :D

I can't see it happening and, as I'm Bedford based, I may take in the Wootton v Oadby match..............in every piece of Diamonds clothing I can muster of course :D

I hear that we have a chance to win the championship if the game ends in a -8:-8 draw.

Only an 8-0 draw to Whitworths would overturn the goal difference ;)

Been thinking about this, and I don't know if anything has been mentioned.

But IF whitworths just happen a shock result, and I know its a big ask, then when would the trophy be presented?

It would be good if it could be organised for a presentation to happen at the dog and duck, where fans can make a donation and enter to watch. Perhaps celebrate like we did yesterday (im still buzzing :D ) It would bring in extra revenue for the club

Don't know what people think, or maybe it just wont work. But for the people who didn't attend yesterday and the people that cant make the presentation evening then it would give them one final memory of an excellent season. Obviously there are a few negatives to this, volunteers, time etc but could it be possible? (depending on Tuesday)

At Thursday's youth match V Oxford City?

Upside, it would put a good few extra on the gate :D
Downside, maybe it would be a distraction to the lads in their vital fixture :?

Don't know, but something to think about if needed.

I can't see Whitworths winning but it would be nice if they did.

Can't see Whitworths getting a result either, but stranger things have happened.
