Presentation evening !!
Just wanted to say a public "well done" to Stacey for organising tonight's "do" - I really enjoyed myself - top job, let's hope we're celebrating another promotion this time next year

Re: Presentation evening !!
It was a really great night, especially as Ralph decided not to make us all blubbering emotional wrecks and cut his speech short  - how thoughful !
Dave's jokes were crap ;)
Bruce had a "reasonable" suit on for a change but couldn't get champagne at the bar as they didn't have any.
Chris Hope gave a lovely moving speech as well. At one point I expected him to announce his retirement, but looks like he might carry on as he said he'd enjoyed this season so much.
From memory;-
Starms Player of the year ;- Sam Brown (who won another award but I can't recall what it was called)
Players player of the year;- Chris Hope
Obviously we all knew Suporters Players of the Year
Goal of the season as voted for on the night was Gilly's overhead kick
Dunc & Mal jointly won Volunteers of the Year, which is now only a once in a lifetime award
Runners-up medals were presented by some chap from Chromasports and Mr Whiting from the UCL gave us a nice speech to kick it all off, saying we are a credit to the league.
I'm sure others will fill in the bits I've missed, and the offy site will be updated accordingly once the hang-overs are cleared

Who get's the runners up medals, I assume a set number of games had to be played, or are there a certain number of medals which the club awards to those who played most games.

Re: Presentation evening !!
Sam also picked up the April Player of the Month award.
Ladies awards were Kerry Lawrence Players Player and Managers Player of the Year. Kerrie Coshan was Most Improved and Claire Stancliffe won the Outstanding Contribution award for her part in getting the team off the ground. Katie and Leanne also gave some special awards out. I can't remember who won what. I didn't recognise half the team with their clothes on

Re: Presentation evening !!
Awww, thanks
I'm so pleased everyone enjoyed it. The guys at The Sharnbrook Hotel were amazing and I can't thank them enough for all they did for us - the room looked brilliant, the food and service were top notch and nothing was too much trouble for them.
It really was a fantastic way to end the most amazing season
