2 more pre-season games announced...

Two good ones as far as i'm concerned. Both new grounds for me.

Ampthill Town came 5th and scored over 100 goals in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division (Step 5). Biggleswade came 18th in the same league.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I've played at Ampthills pitch.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.

So have I in the mid 80's. ;)

Ampthill Park is where Kit Williams buried the Golden Hare, the treasure in his book 'Masquerade'.

Must have been mid 80s for me too Trek. Haven't forgotten how painful it was though

I think the event was either the Ampthill Trophy or the Icknield League. Seemed to recall you got a good view of the Stewartby Brickworks from the top of that hill.

With the Biggleswade game being the 6th August, I assume this means we're anticipating the UCL season to start on the 10th and not the 3rd then like the FL?

Extra Preliminary round of the FA Cup will be first on the 17th August I reckon.
