Admission price vote - the results
Re: Admission price vote - the results
I'm quite happy with £6 it's fantastic value, but moreover being able to bring both my lads with me and them getting in for nothing means I've gone from a fair weather supporter a mere two seasons ago to being able to attend every week. I cannot wait for the new season to kick off.

I'd happily pay £6 to watch the team play, but am hoping to get a season ticket again.

As I posted earlier King's Lynn fans paid £10 last season. Judging by comments on their fans forum many weren't happy and despite winning their league their average league crowd was only just 120 more than our average and only a marginally improvement over their UCL Premier Division crowds. It would appear that they are not expecting their admission charge to increase for Step 3 football next season.bozzer wrote:I note that K*ttering are suggesting £10 or £9 for the division above :o

Is that how close they are to us .........bozzer wrote:I note that K*ttering are suggesting £10 or £9 for the division above :o

Think the move to £6 is the right choice, but still getting a season ticket anyway as before.
Really looking forward to next season already.

I would like too think that we can exceed last season's season tickets sales. It's a convenient way to pay, works out cheaper in the long run, easy for the turnstile staff and money up front for our Club which we know won't be frittered away.

After watching a few games last season, I agree £6 is a good price to pay for the attractive football that is played. I will be buying my first AFC season ticket when they are available to buy. Can't wait for the season to start!

Not just usually, always. Any adult member in our database that doesn't have an email address on file will get a postal vote sent out to them for all member votes (currently 48 members).SouthRushdenJFC wrote:All our votes usually have an option to vote by post or internet. Although the number of our adult members who don't have internet access is fairly small.
With the entrance probably being £2.50 and Junior Membership £5 then you only have to come to three matches and you have made money. That of course is just on entrance fees, there is the Business Partners Scheme as well as the steps we take to evolve the Junior Membership in the coming years.
Maths lesson 1.1: 50% of £6 is £3 ;) - makes it more of a bargain, 2 games and your quids in.

Well I was one of those that didn't vote. Unless I win the lottery there is no way I'll be getting to a game next season, so even though I am entitled to vote I didn't feel I was qualified to vote.Bob's Bitch wrote:It still grates me that the turnout is under 50% for the main decision the members have.
I will however be renewing my membership next season, so I made sure I had my say on those prices.

For me, I voted to keep the prices the same, as I felt it was more about getting people in e doors to boost the attendances, as I think that's where the real money will come from. Happy with the majority decision however, and I'll still be getting a season ticket, so it doesn't affect me that much anyway!
