That is starting to look like a football pitch :) well done Darren, top job !! Seeing that picture has me even more excited/full of anticipation for the new season !!!

Wasn't me - we had someone cut the pitch today, and then put some fertiliser on after as well. Our mower/roller needs sharpening before we can use it.

It had some work a few weeks back to scarify, verti drain and seed it. Then it's just been a question of watering it, and then the first cut today, with some more fertiliser applied after that. More work to do on goal areas to thicken them up.

It does actually look like a football pitch now, the guys doing the work have done a great job.

We were looking back at some pictures of the Thrapston game yesterday and it looks better now than then, with still time to get it even better.
