Darlington Stadium

Post by SouthRushdenJFC »

I'm working up in Darlington this week. The hotel is close to the Northern Echo arena.

It looks a lovely stadium from the outside.

Don't get too close. Unless plenty of time and/or money has been spent tarting it up since the last ever R&DFC game, it is already looking very tired and unmaintained.

Actually owned by a local Rugby Union club

'Mowden Park moved to the 25,000-seater stadium in February this year after selling its previous home on Darlington’s Yiewsley Drive to a housing developer.'
