Departures

Post by elvisgirl »

Can anybody inform me as to if any of our squad from last season have sadly left us?

Subject to confirmation I think Pete will not be seen again, due to work commitments George Cox played for Oakley at back end of last season, though may appear at St Neots Saints this year (if they let him play but not train much) and the was a rumour going round that Jake Whoman has signed for K*ttering :!: sure we may still see some more new faces, which in turn may result in a few departures.

I would guess that we won't see Jamie Gilsenan again.

A few to think about, Jamie O`Grady & Mat Brady both out to Winslow last season to old for U21, Ashley Meeks out at Roade back for 21`s :?: Ash Foulger hope he stays with 21`s, will Louis Smith come back with 21`s or prefer to stay in senior football, either way hope we see him in a Diamonds shirt again in the future, will we see Broardy again :?:

I believe one has signed on to play at Latimer Park next season, other than Jake.

I would not be surprised if some of the following, if not all, will not be with us ...Elliot Dent, Devon Ellwood, Ben Morgan, Quincy Shorunmu.

I'd like us to keep Dent, whose a decent young player. Morgan for his influence and Quincy would be a decent back-up to Cross. Shame Ellwood didn't stand out much last season or else he could have been a good member to carry forward, but I can see him departing.

Come on then, spill the beans. ;) We'll have none of this, I know something you don't. :D

Hope Elliot stays looked good early season, god knows why he stayed on pitch at Olney when injured in 1st half resulting in long lay off followed by a few bit parts & another injury. Agree Dev may look at who's arrived & consider its time to move on. Hope Ben stays may not get much football but can see him being involved in other ways in the future.

Looking at the list of who people think may move on & adding to above comment, could it be a bit of a K*ttering red herring :?: & reference is Dev to BPW :?: though have no evidence just a wild stab in the dark.
