Hoddesden at home in second round.

Is it AFC Dunstable that went unbeaten throughout last season? or was it the other Dunstable?

Yet more teams in that area, though Dunstable's a bit closer than the teams we got in the Cup! Thank god we have at least one home draw from today, incidentally Hoddesdon were the first winners of the Vase in 1975.

Hoddesdon were promoted from Step 6 last season. Dunstable finished 8th at Step 5.

I'm not sure what sort of standard that league is. 4 teams in it conceded over 100 goals last season and 5 teams scored over 100. I suppose we'll find out when we play Ampthill and Biggleswade in pre-season - two games which will probably take more importance now than they might have done.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

We're on the march with Starmer's army
We're all going to London Colney
And we'll really shake 'em up when we win the FA Cup
'Cos AFCR&D are the greatest football team.

I do believe that this will be the first FA Cup match I have seen since the Final in 1976

With a bit of luck we wont be playing many UCL matches in September, certainly not on a Saturday.
In this event though I wont be complaining.

There is a positive consolation to having so many away games in that we can only make money, as all expenses are paid, and and we get prize money when we win, which has been increased this year.
