I went to Sileby V Cobblers which ended 5-1 to the visitors. Sileby included Greg Ling in their side although I didn't recognise many more of their players. If that's the side they're heading into the season with then they're not going to be anything like as good as they were last season.

I've just seen the lineup for Diamonds and it almost looks like we've sent a reserve side up there with a few exceptions. No idea who the subs are.

Largely last season's U18's plus Mason Thomas who played for Irchester last season and U18's in our first season.

I'm not sure it's an insult but it doesn't look great. I feel sorry for any fans that went up expecting to see a full first team.
