Having been unable to make our last two games I haven't seen him play. Any good? Which club was he at last season?
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

He was solid on Saturday in midfield. He left Stamford last December and was briefly at K*ttering in Jan/Feb.

Thought he looked solid Sat playing in midfield, if Deaks is not going to be ok for this Sat Maddox can also play at back. Not sure what our back 4 will be at Deeping but it may well be one that hasn`t had a game together yet so maybe Biggleswade tomorrow will not be a total Under 21 side. Don`t wish to sound negative about getting back 4 sorted but i`m not a Kevin K & always think it`s much easier to win games of football if you keep a clean sheet. Plenty of pre-season games paying off, as at times on Sat we looked very good and don`t think Bedford could have complained if we had been 3 up by half time, though sure they would have done  as some of their supporters looked disgusted that we had the nerve to beat a Bigger Club from a higher league

I see Maddox's signing in the same mould as Jamie Gilsenan signing last season. Good experienced journeyman that will be possibly playing for another team by January.

He's already played in three positions in two games for the Diamonds, and with Brad Harris picking up a knock at Lutterworth he will provide a similar level of flexibility.

Noone can argue he was quite influential on the pitch for us early last season.
Jamie left last season due to family reasons, he was out for a couple of months and in that time we had signed Aaron King and Brad Harris.

Not able to agree with this one :!: :!: He has played at a much higher level and rather than compare him to someone who did well for us for the first month or so he was with us, then as rightly pointed out stopped playing for very understandable reasons, after which as a Club we had moved on in large strides. I can see him as a genuine utility player & without wishing to sound to harsh of a greater ability than utility players we may already have, who can both on & off the pitch bring a little in their present absence of what Hopey & Parky offered to what is still a very young squad. After all ignoring old man TC & his poorly finger and our 2 resident 30+ up front in Fazal & Dunkly we could easily field a back 4 & midfield 4 with an average age of 22 ish and as good as many of them are the will be occasions when a older head will be required.
