He's recently been injured but i'd still rather have seen in the first team starting XI today.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I think everyone would but isn't it great to be able to give him match time and so he comes back in properly fit and up to speed

Winning 3-1 at half time. That's a good opening 45 minutes. ;)

A few quick photo's from the game in Bewdley yesterday - proper photos from Redsnapper to follow on the official site/match report.

Image
Nordic style changing room log cabin, built well above pitch level which apparently floods regularly. There was a tide mark about an inch from the top of the dugouts to show a level :-)

Image
Similarly the main stand raised well above the pitch/flood level. Seats/Benches come complete with carpet mats you take and put back.

Image
Match starts - view from corner flag. River Severn behind trees to the left.

Image
Just after we scored 1st goal.

Image
3-1 up after a great goal from Moses, who beat about 4 players dribbling into the box, and around the keeper to slot calmly home. He went off shortly afterwards with an injury. 3-1 at HT, and 5-2 at the end.

Good standard of football from both sides as well yesterday. Should be an interesting league.
