Bloody hell, I knew one of them was at Long Buckby but I didn't realise they were both there, they obviously kmow each other very well then and I can see them taking the piss out of some teams this year. I've only seen Koriya at Stamford so far, but cannot wait to see him again when he's back, way better than I ever could have imagined us signing at UCL levelcoolcuts wrote:59 goals between fazel & dunks in the strike partnership at long buckby , they of course won the league .BartonRaz wrote:Erm, can we get Fazel on a contract please? Also whilst we're at it, can someone explain to me how this lad has not made it to a high level in the game? He's so good he looks like a professional out there at times. The way he latched on to every single Dunkley flick on was frightening and his two goals from open play were outstanding. I'm gutted he's going to miss the next 4/5 games.
Anyway, make no mistake, Sileby are in for a very very long season if they persist with such a young squad. By the looks of tonights programme they've already started cloning players to make up the numbers. They've literally lost every single player from last season and replaced them with players aged between 16-18. They grew into the game and credit where it's due they certainly played football the right way which is commendable but 8 or 9-0 wouldn't have flattered us tonight, and 8 or 9-0 it should have been.

Lets not spend to much time going on about how good he/they are just in case they read this
Contract debate could go on all season, but my way of looking at it, talking to all the new signings and watching them on & off the pitch, they are all with us because they want to be, and money is not a key factor. They and the rest of the team appear to all get on very well and look to be loving how things are going. There are a few players in our team who could without doubt play at a higher level, but for various reasons they are more than happy where they are & with what`s going on.
Just need a few more games for other front players to dial into the concept of Dunkley receives the ball/wins the header while others make the runs, at which point we could look a little dangerous up front :!: :!:
How nice was it last night to see the opening goal. Front man goes past defender & has very clear scoring opportunity, looks up and squares it to his fellow striker who has a tap in, now that was a new and welcome concept. Point made previously, between Dunks & Fazel they got 59 goals for Long Buckby 2 seasons back :!: who got how many :?: who gives a f..k.

Have a look at the highlights and the interviews for Fazel's thoughts on the first goal, and the penalty miss.

My dear chap you have the advantage on us there, as we are unable to view said interview & highlights until they are indeed made available for said viewing by us mere mortals. We shell all await the public release of these highlights with baited breath.

Actually the advantage that SRJFC has is not that he has seen the highlights (only the cameraman will have), but that he did the interview :lol:Brownie wrote:My dear chap you have the advantage on us there, as we are unable to view said interview & highlights until they are indeed made available for said viewing by us mere mortals. On a technicality, I think all of us that were at the game saw the highlights, it`s just at the time of viewing live and until such time as those who can, do the editing, we were in fact unaware which bits were in fact highlights
Though that aside like everyone else I can hardly contain myself awaiting release of not only the match highlights but also the interviews, conducted by possibly our very own King of cringeworthyness, as he was described yesterday.

I thought it was probably a fair question. One day I write things down during the match and ask related questions rather than making it up as I go along.Brownie wrote:conducted by possibly our very own King of cringeworthyness, as he was described yesterday.
I'm not wearing a jacket like Bruce's yesterday though.

At Spencer last season Bruce described his jacket as lucky
well as he wasn`t carted off in a yellow van that day by mem in white coats I can only assume it was
