Will he still be saying that when he finds that he will be playing 'second fiddle' to Lewis Wilson?

Now who would I rather have spearheading our goal scoring forward line this season Dunkley, Koriya, Taylor, Liburd or............. um Newman? That's a really difficult choice. ;)

Move along. Nothing more to see here. :D

Jake posted a less than complimentary indirect tweet about us on Saturday. Something about us getting a 'reality check' on Saturday which was clearly aimed in our direction.

I really liked Jake as a player and frankly without his goals we'd probably still be in Div One, but Koriya and Dunkley are far better IMO. With Lewis Wilson and Rob Foster competing for a place up front he'll have a job on his hands to stay in the K*ttering side.

I don't really know why he feels the need to start insulting us when in true Diamonds spirit most wished him all the best on his move despite who he was joining.

I liked the boy to speak to, however his head was 'turned' when K*ttering offered him a formal contract whilst our management chose not to and that may have niggled him. Perhaps he will say his recent twitter comment directed at Wizz prior to our excellent win at Deeping was merely banter but Wizz certainly had the last laugh on this ocassion. ;)

I think that he only chose the Ploppies because he thought he looked good in a red and black striped shirt and it reminded him of his 'glory days' with Whitworths. :D

At least now this is a revisited topic,We are not telling our new signings know how good they are
Not sure what Jake has or has not said, but like Trek pointed out look at our forward options from last year and with the greatest respect to 2 in particular Ben & Dev, then what we have available now I think the best description is No Brainer. Jake was not a bad striker, but still has lots to learn and prove to others and himself or he may have maxed out at Level 4. Considering his age and previous Club (The Mighty Whitworths) I doubt he knows anything about our summer signings let alone ever been on the same pitch as any of them. So lets give him the benefit of the doubt and assume remarks about reality check are a compliment to the Club he once loved so greatly, and he has much admiration for our assembled squad, and the REALITY of which he talks is the one that "we are stronger than last season (once the back 4 is sorted and settled) and he has moved on" in case anybody hadn`t noticed. :o
New topic please

Ex-player having a little dig shocker !!

Not interested in what he has to say, we've moved on, maybe he should!

Young immature people often say young and immature things, file this one under "bothered?".

I'm sad he felt the need to say this, we all wished him well when he left, now I hope he falls flat on his arse, but won't i be losing any sleep over it.

Ritchie Jeune is now complaining on twitter than Desborough havn't observed the 7 day protocol in respect of Caswell. That's rich coming from a club that was fined £500 by the FA for illegal approaches for Logan and Byrne who were registered for Ar Tarn. :D
