Now add into the mix a home game against Chester which could (and in my opinion should if possible) be played between Hayes and the Grays games. The idea being to keep the momentum going in this run of lower mid-table fixtures. Not counting chickens or anything but I can see another winning run with all of those above being 'W's. That would put us on 60 points with 31 played, a great position to get into the play-offs.
Looking at the rest of the fixtures I can't really see a team (bar Oxford) that we couldn't beat. The only things that will mess up a possible mahoosive run of wins is if we beat Workington and draw someone annoying in the Trophy or if our squad is fucked in the transfer window. So maybe we should play a reserve side up t'North, bring back Smith, put him in the side, play Pattison, Beecroft etc. and blood a few youngsters a la Arsenal in the Carling Cup. ;)
To be honest I can't see us not making the play-offs really, has anyone got the balls to disagree with me? Well?!
