Nice to see confirmation of the record crowd last weekend.
There's also a summary that appears on the UCL website - http://full-time.thefa.com/DisplayNews. ... ue=1625657

Re: UCL Review
Out of interest, what is the record UCL Prem attendance? I know St Neots v King's Lynn got 1400 or something a few years back, but has there been higher?

Re: UCL Review
Not sure if it is the largest attendance, but there were 5317 to watch Spalding United v Corby Town in April 1951. Corby Town won the Division One (now Premier) title that year. Attendances started to decline towards the mid-50’s and there would be no chance now of exceeding some of the attendances the UCL used to achieve during the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s.Olly wrote:Out of interest, what is the record UCL Prem attendance? As far as the modern era is concerned, the two games between St.Neots Town and King’s Lynn Town in the 2010/2011 season are probably the largest crowds. 1481 at Rowley Park on 5 February 2011, and 1445 at the Walks on 16 April 2011. These two attendances were the largest since 4 May 1971, when Rothwell Town v Irthlingborough Diamonds attracted an audience of 2508 for the title decider – Diamonds winning the Championship with a 2-1 win.
