Ok so we've had an off day in the first game and got away with it. After a few wins on the bounce a draw might be a wake up call and at least it's not a defeat. Lets get behind the club and see if we can be the 12th man difference. Come on you Diamonds there's money up for grabs.

Is King on holiday? Not sure if Grainger can play in the middle, but if he can then I think it'd be a good idea to have him as the attacking central midfielder, alongside Harris. Deaks has to be fit now? Maybe Alfie starting would be a good idea as well.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Grainger's not an attacking midfielder. If you want a bit more guile in the middle then Dent should start.

This hurts but I have to agree with DC :o Brad & Sean is to defensive both were poor Sat, Brad just had a stinker which he has aknowledged, Sean looked Ill, drained & lost, no idea why he may be under the weather & no doubt back on track soon. Give ED a start, games he's played in so far he has done little wrong. Two defensive centre Mids has resulted in a back 6, this with 2 attacking wide men & 2 strikers sadly = a big hole in the middle of the park to be exploited by the opposition. Hopefully all suspensions now served  & Big Bird can have a run out.
Onwards & upwards & yesterday is filled under history.

Looking forward to our first ever replay, and another blast on the eardrums from their manager.
What happened to the "no alcohol outside the bar" rule on Saturday? Plenty of drinkers all around the ground. I hope Colney don't get penalized by the FA as it was such a good day for their finances.
The cakes in the clubroom were delicious and so cheap. I should have bought some to take home.
Does anyone know the winning £100 raffle prize number. I forgot to check before I left.

Drinking outside, think they just took a flyer on that one due to money making opportunity.
Cakes started at £1 each, then went to 2 for £1, presume you moved in at the 2 of 50 pence lets get rid of them offer after 5? but yes they were very good and almost fat free, or so DC was telling everyone
Winning ticket No was in the 900 I think round 950s.
Kick up the backside for most of team and a solid 3-0 tomorrow.

The first and second prizes were numbers a couple apart, and claimed by the same person - who seemed to know the person doing the draw (noting that it did look fair as various children got to pick the numbers).sussexdiamond wrote:Does anyone know the winning £100 raffle prize number. The no alcohol rule is an challenging one for clubs with limited numbers of stewards and a much bigger crowd than usual - they were trying to stop people going beyond the initial fence around the clubhouse.

Congratulations Formic that is a very large portion of "benifit of doubt" handed out. I'm sure the 2 stewards who stood by the Clubhouse door for the complete game could have uttered the words "sorry no drinks outside" & it may have also been possible to close the bar during the game without risking an Egyptian moment. In the knowledge that we are perminantly being watched by those in high places best we keep doing everything correctly as we always have & not worry to much what others do & get away wit
