Most things said on twitter should be taken with a pinch of salt. He's a young lad and I imagine most things he will write on the internet are in fun, not making serious comments for the most part.FOOTYMAN wrote:According to his twitter messages, he is not willing to take a place on the bench, won't consider playing for the U21 team and thinks No Start = No Interest. He sounds like a spoilt brat with his comments and as far as the team played last night, he is not needed.Three of Diamonds wrote:Starms doesnt need to be match fit does he?rdfc4life wrote:King not in the squad because he's just back off holiday. Seems a bit ironic after the manager just came back off holiday, surely we would pick the best players available?
We have enough midfielders to carry the club forward.

For context:
The U21 thing was after another of the players told him (probably jokingly) of a policy of having to play for the U21's if you go on holiday before getting in the first team.
"No Start = No Interest" was said in response to Kingy saying "I don't do the bench mate ;)" in a conversation with someone he is clearly friends with.
If anyone is to make a judgement of if a player's attitude is right or wrong then it should be the manager and not fans.
He clearly accepts he didn't have a place in the squad because he came back from holiday the previous night. He hasn't had a training session since being back, naming him would be a massive gamble IMO, though I expected him on the bench, I didn't realise it was only 24 hours previously he got back.
Now it's his job to show what he can do in training and push Dent for the starting attacking midfield role. With Dent showing what he can do Kingy is much less a shoe in for the role. I would hope we would see the best out of the pair of them pushing each other over the coming season, both being young lads capable of improving, this is a great situation to be in.
