disappointed to lose and with the second half performance, but we were going to lose at some point and not score so its better to get it of the way, it not like they tore us apart they scored from a long throw ( an awesome throw at that) I have faith in Starms and we all know we will be there or thereabouts come the end of season

No complaints from me, the best team won on the night, credit to Huntingdon, they played some nice stuff. I'd rather lose to a team like that, than a team who played dirty for the win.
Also their number 9, had a permanent smile on his face throughout the match, great to see a player enjoying himself!

Indeed they did. Their game plan worked, although, we should have been 2 up at half time.diamondgeezer1 wrote:No complaints from me, the best team won on the night, credit to Huntingdon, they played some nice stuff. I'd rather lose to a team like that, than a team who played dirty for the win.
We just have to get on with the next match. As someone mentioned, it is 3 defeats in total over 14 months and better that we lose now and recompose to go on another long unbeaten run.
The team knows they didn't play well and will go out and prove to us and themselves, how capable they are at playing good football.
Our attention is back on the Cup....

Forgot to mention this in my previous post.
Huntingdon clearly had us watched, and they did a good job on Big Dunk. We are in danger of being one dimensional with that ball over the top, and we are much better when we get it down and play on the floor.
I think Alfie had a quiet game by his standards, as did Wiz.
But as I said on twitter, onwards and upwards, you can't win them all, and we need to show our bounce back ability on Saturday.

There's been better quality opposition already this season compared to last so narrow defeats are going to happen. We need to keep clean sheets first and we miss Parky & Hopey but the lads we have will learn & improve. Onwards and upwards.
