It's going to be a tough challenge tomorrow. I hope we give this competition our full focus, as AFC Dunstable are one of the toughest teams we could have drawn at this stage of the competition.

Do we really want to progress in this competition bearing in mind that we are still in the FA Cup? There is a danger of a fixtures backlog which can only harm our chances of winning the league which presumably is the priority competition.

We could be out of the FA Cup in a week's time though. We were unlucky to lose at Ashington last year, I think with a bit of luck we can go really deep in the Vase this year. With 2 teams having dropped out of the league it has freed up some space for a Vase run. I think it'd be a good idea to go out of the KO Cup and Senior Cup early though, they (especially the former) would cause serious congestion.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

While the weather is good, we have a injury free squad we can take every cup seriously. Though if required the league cup & N'ants Senior can be used for giving some of the 21s a run out. Though we must progress in the Vase as I'm missing tomorrow & if we progress, the next round as well & need another day out like Ashington.
Those will be the only games I'll miss this season :) which will be less that some senior club officials have missed in August :o have fun tomorrow & see everyone at Cockfosters.

Would we rather win the Vase or get promoted??? I think promotion is the goal but could you image if we got to Wembley what it would do for our club. The excitement and media attention and would be amazing.

dare to dream

I'll be there + 1, for the first time since the Colney away game. Really looking forward to it :D

I'm guessing Faz won't be back for tomorrow's game, so it's got to be the same team that beat Northwood last Saturday for me. Though Harris/McBride will be an interesting one to call for Starms.

Come on you Whites!
'...Wardley again.... Now Butterworth trying to provide some inspiration; What will the response be from Rushden??? IT'S A GOAL FROM ONANDI LOWE!!!!.... Third Division POSF 2nd leg; Rochdale 1 Rushden & Diamonds 2 Tuesday 30th April 2002

Win the league and get away from the UCL, But as an option Vase final is a nice idea, though tomorrow will be as hard as anything we had last season so don`t start dreaming till 4.50 tomorrow, unless we have the Ref from Northwood in which case better wait till 4.58 :o

Faz was at training last night so may possibly be on the bench, not sure on the BH or SM though Brad did sod all wrong last week so may retain his place.

With Fazel back in the fold i'm more confident about our chances. I think that'll tip it in our favour.
