Well, seeing as though once we're promoted, we realistically won't get another chance of getting to Wembley for a while, if I had the choice, I'd probably actually pick the Vase and Wembley over promotion this season, knowing that even if we're not promoted this season, we'd certainly have a great chance of promotion next season anyway, would be a dream come true to watch the Diamonds at Wembley and financially very lucrative as well, even more so than promotion surely?sandringhamdiamond wrote:Would we rather win the Vase or get promoted??? I think promotion is the goal but could you image if we got to Wembley what it would do for our club. The excitement and media attention and would be amazing.
dare to dream
Though obviously both would be nice, we'd have to hope for the weather to be kind to us though.

Hear what your saying, but I always want us to win every game. Maybe players like Quincy, Gilly and Lance should be brought into this one to give them more game timeTurveyman wrote:Do we really want to progress in this competition bearing in mind that we are still in the FA Cup? There is a danger of a fixtures backlog which can only harm our chances of winning the league which presumably is the priority competition.

I'm afraid I have to disagree completely, going out of the Vase would be a seriously bad idea. Yes promotion would be nice, but it's going to be really tough!TheIncognitoKid wrote:Hear what your saying, but I always want us to win every game. For me the financial benefits mean that continuing in the Vase for as long as possible must be a priority

Hey, at the end of the day we have a good strong squad and can compete on all fronts, lets just hope for a mild winter eh? FA Vase, FA Cup and the UCL Prem are the 3 competitions we need to focus on IMO, not necessarily in that order mind. We've got a tough one today, but I'd be gutted if we didn't progress in the FA Cup next week, whilst you always respect your opponents (or should) I think we can beat Cockfosters FC!!
The UCL prem HAS (IMO) to be our primary focus though. Yes it's great to have an exciting and lucrative cup run, but to keep momentum going and moving forward the league has to be out aim.
Of course if I had a crystal ball that said we'd get through to the 1st round proper of the FA cup and finish 6th in the prem I'd take that ;)
Just loving everything about the club, it's all so positive and when I look down the road and see what is going on I feel blessed!!

1-1, Koriya comes on and immediately assists Dunkley to score.

Couldn't be there today, but by the looks of the twitter feed, Koriya has had a storming game, quality player, hope he plays next Saturday.
