Regardless of how well the teams playing, this guy has to start every time available. An enforced change for when Gearing got injured, he made an immediate impact for the goal and caused the full-back all sorts of problems. Almost won it in extra time when he rounded the keeper but tried to square it for Dunks but it was cut out by the keeper. Even though he only played the last hour, I think he was MOTM and has to be straight back in on Tuesday!

The way Starms handled the Aaron King holiday issue from a few weeks ago dictated that Fazel wasn't going to start today. I was just relieved he was in the squad.

Firstly I thought it was a brilliant game, end to end from the word go with a whole host of goalscoring opportunities created. A cracking advert for the level of football.

First half we were passed off the park by Dunstable who obviously had a bit about them. They used the extra man in midfield very well and dominated possession. Despite that we created the better chances but failed to take them. The goal was perhaps deserved but I always thought we'd create chances and get back in the game.

Second half was totally the opposite, as we were asking all the questions and carving out even more opportunities. The game changed when Koriya came on as you might expect, assisting Dunks almost instantly, and for 20-25 minutes he was causing absolute chaos. He then had a couple of great attempts cleared off the line before Kingy missed an absolute sitter when it looked far easier to score.

The tactical change in extra time almost cost us the game as we were all over the place after that and could have conceded on numerous occasions. Glad we've got them back to the D&D and hopefully we can finish the job - with Koriya from the start!

Mention for Nat Liburd too who I thought looked very dangerous going forward.

Great entertainment.

Thought Jamal Clarke had a great game today , up against a very awkward talented opponent.
Any news on Matt Gearing. How that guy was not even booked I don't know.
What is news on Sam Brown.

Suddenly our squad is looking a little threadbare.

Agree about Jamal. Mattie's injury, I understand, is not as bad as first thought. Sam's withdrawal was more precautionary and he hopes to be fit for Tuesday according to a recent tweet.

A cracking match and some very nice people associated with AFC Dunstable. ;)

Asked Sam before the game, slight groin strain but just resting it and should be back next week. Jamal had a great game. I'm sure the lads will take the win Tuesday
