Jake is NOT too old for the U18s this season, and has been a most games supporting his teammates. Last I heard there was a slight chance of him being fit for next Monday's FA Youth Cup tie at home to Bugbrooke, but not sure how he's progressed over the last week or two.

Whoops, must be that he want`s to possibly be involved at some point with the U21s then. But the good news is he`s still with us and hopefully back playing soon.

Injured I believe, although I thought he was still eligible for U18's. May be wrong on that.

Formic - what have the attendances been like at these U18 games?
The attendances have been fairly disappointing to be honest - especially given the level of entertainment / goals this season. There were probably more there last night because it was a Wellingborough home game so there was a better mix of home and away fans.

I hope we get a good few more next Monday for the FA Youth Cup game as the lads will need our backing given they lost away narrowly away at Bugbrooke.

hi all,a quick update on jake.....he can still play for the u18s as he only turned 18 a week ago,and his injury has progressed well(ankle ligaments and a small fracture :( ),his cast came off about 10 days ago and he has been training, once.last night he wanted to play or at least sit on the bench,,,,but we had a chat about it ;) ;) and after a heated debate ;) ;) I decided to watch the u18s by myself  ,,,,,,,so hes still here and chomping at the bit :D
