Agreed, CCFC are a step 3 side and a good one at that!Bob's Bitch wrote:I didn't realise that it was negative to suggest that the Step 3 side that's in good form will beat the Step 5 side? Just realistic IMO. Of course I'd love us to win, but we are underdogs for a reason.Brownie wrote:Bloody hell Bitch are you over there doing a course on negativity  yes the are some good strikers at step 3 but this is Cambridge City not Man City. For example one of the strikers we will face today (a well known ex pro goalkeepers son) was at Bedford Town last season, watched them a few times & being honest give me Dunks any day. A high scorer in Southern league is Phillips at Bedford 10 so far, couldn't score in a brothel last season in UCL Prem. We may get beat after all we let in 4&5 last season to UCL1 teams but we are capable of winning today.Bob's Bitch wrote:With Merrill out I'm guessing that Gilly will step in at right-back? I think we'll score, maybe even score two, but I don't think we'll be able to cope with a Step 3 attack. 2-4 (Dunkley and Taylor), 850+ crowd hopefully.
2-1 Diamonds & Luton away in next round.

Don't think you can be realistic about an fa cup tie, who would of thought Wigan would be fa cup holders today? If you turn up with the correct attitude for the game then you score goals. There is nothing wrong with believing that a team with a good home form and massive underdogs can't pull it off..

No chance of getting Luton in the next round, 4th qualifying round maybe.Brownie wrote:Bloody hell Bitch are you over there doing a course on negativity  yes the are some good strikers at step 3 but this is Cambridge City not Man City. Also agreed, a lot of football fans will always back their team to win no matter who they're playing, but realistically today, there's no reason why we should win against a team 2 levels higher in excellent form, we can win, but it'll take a top performance all round for that to happen, would be absolutely fantastic if we did and we've scored a few early goals this season, one today would be superbBob's Bitch wrote:I didn't realise that it was negative to suggest that the Step 3 side that's in good form will beat the Step 5 side?
