The prices quoted on their OWS specifically relate to league matches. As it is a 'shared gate' hasn't the admission charge for FA Cup fixtures to be prior agreed between the two clubs? In any event, the higher admission charge for this fixture would be of benefit to us.Rushdenjim wrote: I was more shocked at the £13 admission price. £13 for Skrill South seems abit steep, although looking around at other clubs in the league £12 is the norm.

That's a very positive point then. We have a 100% record against teams who have played both the old & new Clubs :lol:diamondgeezer1 wrote:Of course we did!! :oops:Trek wrote:No, we played Cambridge City twice in season 1995-6.diamondgeezer1 wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong, but will Dover be the first team to have played both clubs in a competitive game?
I'm in no way negative, but I'm a realist and if I thought we didn't have an f in prayer I may not say it directly but would leave the odd big space for reading between the lines. This is our biggest challenge yet but that's what we want & need to progress & given a few of our squad could hold their own in step 2/3 coupled with our current form it's come at the right time. It's a game we could loose by 2/3 but then again it's one we are capable of winning. Need a big showing both on & off the pitch. 12th Man it's your most important game to date.

Thats a shame for yah guys, thought you deserved to get a better draw than that for your win against Cambridge Sat. It is a long way to go, but good day out for the fans, and worst case scenario, if you were to lose the game, you should still make a good amount of money out of the game as Dover seem to be a well supported team. Also you have a chance of getting a draw, or even better a win, it,s all on the day again. ( There wasn,t too many people who gave you a chance against Cambridge and you all know what happened in that game). Enjoy your day.

I agree Brownie, we really need to be encouraging our supporters to turn up to this fixture en masse as I feel we could make a difference to the outcome. I would love to see a number of coaches filled for this trip.Brownie wrote: 12th Man it's your most important game to date.

This'll be another Ashington-type atmosphere I reckon. I might have been a bit too "realistic" (hi Brownie!) about Saturday but I'm actually more upbeat about this tie. We can go there knowing that we've already done way more than we expected in this competition, that we can beat sides higher in the pyramid and that the pressure is all on them. We just need to go there and give everything for 90 minutes, there's always one Step 5 side in the 4th Qualifying Round, why can't it be us this year?!
I'm really tempted to spend £150 on a massive train journey to get to this one.

I never got to go to Dover with rushden and diamonds, so what's people's views and memories of it?
It will probably be too early to ask but is there any segregation or is it a stand where you want? Seen as its a bit of a upgrade to the grounds we have visited we should all try to congregate in one area to create an afc atmosphere to remember
