Liverpool after all we are a Merseyside based Club :lol:Duke of Wimbourne wrote:Bob's Bitch wrote:Booked my flights yesterday, if we take them to a replay I'll be extremely pissed off because my return is on the Monday. Now all I have to do is figure how I'm getting to Dover and back.
It's a shame it won't be segregated because if there's one thing I've missed about the away games with the old club, it's that when we have a good following we're not all in the same place and can't create great atmosphere's like we did at Oxford/Luton/Aldershot.
What airport are you flying into? 8-)

Gatwick, but I'm flying in on Wednesday so I'll be going from Rushden. You going on the coach Duke?

Rather than the usual "Barmy Army" chant, is it not about time we changed it to "Starmy Army"?

Anyone remember a few seasons back on a certain Wycombe match? Looking towards the airwair, and see all their fans and the drum just continuously chanting chairboys, jumping together. It looked quite impressive and it drove them forwards to score, then they done it louder :lol:sussexdiamond wrote:Rather than the usual "Barmy Army" chant, is it not about time we changed it to "Starmy Army"?
Jumping in sync on the terrace next sat, starmy army I'm all for it, providing they score

I do remember this, they were relentless... And I think they were wearing a coloured kit, very similar to the colour of our third strip which will be worn on the day of the cup tie.
Get them drums........................................... boom boom boom

I also remember it well. I was sitting in the Airwair Stand at the time and the Wycombe support was simply amazing, perhaps 400 or so fans, and they made more noise than the 2000+ Sheffield Wednesday fans when they visited us and perhaps the best away support I ever witnessed at Nene Park. Wycombe were struggling in the league at that time so the Chairboys support that day was even more impressive.corby diamond wrote: Anyone remember a few seasons back on a certain Wycombe match?
