That looks seriously impressive, wouldn't look out of place in the Rushden/Iboro area to be honest.

Barnet have had their planning application for alterations to the height of the stand and floodlighting turned down.

Seems like the Hive is not such a marvellous facility after all, Barnet FC have received an enforcement notice from the local authority as both the main stand and floodlights are higher than that permitted in the planning approval.

an issue that will be sorted.. We want to miove back to Barnet but that wont happen within the next 10 years..
The new stand behind the goal at Underhill will be relocated to the hive hopefully next season in phase 2 of the hive development..

Is that by appealing and overturning the 'enforcement notice' or by reducing the height of the main stand and floodlights?

They won't be able to leave an appeal against the decision on the enforcement until after the end of this season. There is a time limit from the date of the enforcement notice to put an appeal in. If they miss this date then they are scuppered.

We have 6 months to appeal so time to talk to the council and put atleast the floodlight right. the stand is ok til the end of the seaon as our last game is away. not sure what will happen IF we make the playoffs.

They got a slagging yesterday via a letter in NLP from a Salisbury fan. Advertised ground entry as £16, but when away fans arrive due to the closure of the main terrace they are charged £21 and were made to sit in the stand  lot of money to watch Skrill Prem, or possibly Barnet are like Luton and think they are still in the Football League
