This will be a tougher test than our previous home games in this division have been to date. I saw PNS beat Yaxley in one of the early FA Cup rounds and to be honest i'm surprised they aren't in a better position in the league.

They had a winger called Billy Smith who was exceptional and definitely one to watch tomorrow.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Perhaps consistency is PNS's main problem. I've also noticed that the Lincs/Cambs clubs in this league have a merry go round with players from Spalding/Holbeach/Deeping/PNS/Yaxley and Wisbech swopping players between those clubs and I think this may have be a contributory factor to PNS variable form. There doesn't seem to be the same level of movement between the Northants UCL Prem Div clubs.

Agreed - I was at that game too, and after a pretty average first half Billy Smith got going and Yaxley were three behind before they knew what hit them (not helped by a comedy bit of goalkeeping).

If you change it to Wednesday then you could be affecting a whole different section of people who have other commitments that evening.

I sense a mountain being made out of a molehill here.

Exactly - including players. And if ppl are so bothered about ENG-GER-LAND, then they can record the match or watch the highlights. It's what i'll be doing! I'll be at the D&D, come on you Diamonds!

The Dunstable replay was on the same night as England wasn't it? Admittedly the England game wasn't as significant, but it was only an Vase qualifying replay, so the attendance of 324 shows that we have enough loyal support for it not to be a huge problem, think we'll get a similar crowd tomorrow. I can't deny I'm slightly disappointed to be missing such a crucial England game, it is our national team afterall, but I'll always be at the D&D for league and important cup matches no matter what's on TV.

I agree with Olly. It is not only clashes with so-called TV matches, (England, Champions League etc.) we could have been at home to the bottom club, on a winters evening with 6'c and rain, we would still get a decent turn out. If we can get 250 on a Tuesday night for a League match, I think we are doing okay.
Last season we suffered many midweek attendance dips, due to rearranged matches, originally scheduled for a Saturday, but, hey ho, we averaged a very good home crowd over the duration of the season.
Anyone who wants to make the effort to support their team, will do so, regardless of other options.
See you tonight.

Anyone know how the pitch is holding up with all the recent rain?

The club need a reasonable gate , the players need a big lift, the Ing-er-land game can be recorded. Job done. See you all later :D
